Cena’s Back Baby WWE Saturday Night Mayhem Rocks Tampa

WWE’s Saturday night special delivered big matches, a John Cena return, and title drama as Jey Uso shut down Logan Paul in Tampa.

If you thought WWE was slowing down — think again. Saturday Night’s Main Event just body-slammed your expectations and brought the chaos, the thrills, and yes, John Cena.

That’s right. Tampa’s Yuengling Center turned into a full-blown wrestling party Saturday night (May 24), as fans witnessed a night packed with high-octane drama, trash talk, and more fists than a Marvel movie.

Kicking off at 8 PM ET sharp — streaming on Peacock and airing on NBC — the two-hour showdown gave us exactly what we came for: action, attitude, and abs.

Cena vs. R-Truth? Absolutely happened. And it was vintage Cena — the crowd roared as the 16-time world champ hit the ring in peak form. R-Truth brought his usual wild-card energy, but Cena wasn’t playing around.

According to WWE.com, Cena “looked as focused as ever,” and yeah — he won. The crowd? Electrified. It was like 2007 all over again.

But hold up — that wasn’t even the biggest title on the line.

Jey Uso defended his World Heavyweight Championship against Logan Paul, who’s somehow still in this WWE thing and still stirring the pot. Spoiler alert: Jey retained, because of course he did. He’s on a tear, and the crowd wasn’t mad about it.

And yep, Paul sold every hit like a YouTuber trying not to drop his iPhone. Respect.

The night was filled with edge-of-your-seat moments, classic smackdowns, and a clear reminder that WWE knows how to throw a party — especially when Cena’s in town.

Missed it live? Don’t worry — Netflix’s got the stream for India, while U.S. fans can catch the replay on Peacock.

Whether you’re Team Cena, Team Uso, or just in it for the memes, Saturday Night’s Main Event proved one thing: WWE still knows how to bring it.
