India Launches Naval Ops In Arabian Sea After Pakistan’s Provocation

India hits back with naval operations in the Arabian Sea after Pakistan’s failed missile and drone attacks trigger swift retaliation.

Boom. Just like that, the Arabian Sea turned into a battleground.

After Pakistan reportedly tried to stir the pot with attempted missile and drone attacks across Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, and Rajasthan, India didn’t just sit around sipping chai. The Indian Armed Forces clapped back with what’s now being called Operation Sindoor — and it’s making waves. Literally.

Sources told NDTV that the Indian Navy has begun full-fledged operations in the Arabian Sea. Not a drill, folks.

Warships are out. Surveillance is tight. And yes, INS Vikrant, India’s homegrown aircraft carrier, is leading the charge — Bollywood couldn’t have scripted it better. According to NewsX, the Vikrant launched precision strikes on Pakistani naval bases in Karachi and Ormara, reportedly triggering massive fires. Ouch.

And it’s not just fireworks at sea. On land, India’s retaliation was swift. Fighter jets targeted terror launchpads in Pakistan-occupied areas near Lahore and Sialkot, as per India Today. While officials are keeping things tight-lipped, sources confirmed that the strikes were “pinpoint” and “measured”—this wasn’t a rage response, it was a calculated clapback.

Meanwhile, Pakistan claims it downed five Indian jets and took out 50 soldiers. India’s not even dignifying that with a detailed response. Sources say the “situation is under control,” and officials are sticking to facts, not fiction.

Indian Navy has also issued navigation warnings to all civilian and commercial ships in the area, says Marine Insight. Basically: steer clear, this isn’t your average naval exercise.

What’s the world saying? The Financial Times reports that the US and EU are urging both sides to chill. Prime Minister Modi, meanwhile, said India doesn’t want to escalate things—unless Pakistan keeps poking the bear.

This whole thing kicked off after the deadly Pahalgam terror attack earlier this week. But now? It’s a full-blown regional standoff, with India showing it won’t be messed with.

If there’s one thing we’ve learned from all this, it’s that India knows how to play defense and offense — and it’s doing both with precision, power, and a whole lot of naval muscle.

Stay tuned. The seas are anything but calm.
