Well, this just got interesting. Taylor Swift is being dragged into a legal battle, and it’s not the kind of drama you’re used to hearing about in her songs. The pop queen has been subpoenaed to testify as a witness in the ongoing case between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni. Yep, you read that right.

Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni are battling it out in court over alleged misconduct during the production of It Ends With Us — and now, Taylor Swift’s name has entered the chat. Why? Well, Baldoni’s team claims that Swift played a role in influencing decisions on the movie, particularly during a meeting at Lively’s NYC penthouse. The allegations are wild, claiming that Taylor’s presence was part of a plot to pressure Baldoni into script changes.

But hold up — Swift’s reps have firmly shut that down. They say she had absolutely no hand in the film’s production, aside from her song “My Tears Ricochet” being used on the soundtrack. That’s it. No influence, no behind-the-scenes power moves. So why is she even being dragged into this mess? Her legal team is about to figure that out, because the subpoena might not stick.

The whole thing is quickly turning into a publicity circus. Blake Lively’s lawyer, Mike Gottlieb, blasted the subpoena as a tactic to distract from the actual issues at hand — namely, the allegations of sexual harassment and retaliation in the workplace. And honestly, who could blame him for calling out this celebrity chess match?

The trial kicks off in March 2026, but whether Swift will be forced to testify is still up in the air. Don’t be surprised if more big names (Hugh Jackman, anyone?) get sucked into the whirlwind. It’s shaping up to be one wild ride.
