Three Sisters Found Dead in Washington; Father Sought for Murder

Three young sisters were found dead after going missing during a scheduled visit with their father, who is now wanted for murder.

Hold tight—this story is heartbreaking and urgent. Three young sisters in Washington—Paityn, 9; Evelyn, 8; and Olivia, 5—were found dead after disappearing during a planned visit with their father, Travis Decker, police told ABC News. The little girls vanished after leaving home Friday to see their dad, but never came back.

The Wenatchee Police Department tracked down the girls’ bodies near Rock Island Campground in Chelan County on Monday afternoon, after spotting Decker’s empty vehicle nearby. But Travis Decker? Still nowhere to be found.

He’s wanted on three counts of first-degree murder and one count of first-degree kidnapping. Police warn Decker, 32, is homeless, possibly armed, and has military training, making him a serious risk. The Washington State Patrol canceled the Endangered Missing Persons Alert once the grim discovery was made, but the manhunt continues.

Before the tragedy was confirmed, the girls’ mother, Whitney Decker, made a desperate plea. “I just want the girls back home safe and sound,” she told ABC News. Her fears were real.

Authorities describe Travis Decker as 5’8”, black hair, brown eyes, last seen in a light shirt and dark shorts. Police urge anyone with info to call 911 immediately—and please, don’t try to confront him.

This case is fresh, serious, and unfolding. We’ll keep an eye on it.
