Cristiano Ronaldo Hints Al Nassr Exit With “this Chapter Is Over” Message

Cristiano Ronaldo has spoken. And when CR7 talks, the football world listens.

After Al-Nassr‘s final Saudi Pro League game on Monday, Ronaldo dropped a cryptic post that got everyone buzzing.

A post shared by Cristiano Ronaldo (@cristiano)

“This chapter is over. The story? Still being written. Grateful to all.”

That’s what he wrote on social media, right after scoring his 35th goal of the season in a 3–2 loss to Al-Fateh. Yes, 35 goals. At 39.

He’s still got it. But clearly, he’s also got other plans.

This post sent fans—and media—into overdrive. Is he leaving Al-Nassr? Heading to the U.S.? Club World Cup cameo?

No one knows for sure. But as Sportsnet pointed out, his contract is set to expire next month. And The Sun reports FIFA has opened a special transfer window for Club World Cup teams between June 1 and June 10. Convenient timing, no?

Ronaldo’s next club hasn’t been named. Yet.

But with teams like Palmeiras and Al Hilal heading to the Club World Cup—and Messi’s Inter Miami lurking in Group A—a reunion showdown could be on the cards.

That’s right. Ronaldo vs. Messi. One more time. Maybe.

Of course, all this buzz doesn’t change one fact: Ronaldo just wrapped a record-breaking season, surpassing the Saudi Pro League’s single-season scoring record. Again.

So, is this the final goodbye to Saudi football? Maybe. But if there’s one thing we know about Ronaldo, it’s this—he doesn’t do “quiet exits.”
