Jurassic World Rebirth Trailer Drops And It’s A Dino Sized Knockout

Hold onto your butts — Jurassic World: Rebirth just dropped Trailer 2, and it’s pure prehistoric chaos.

Scarlett Johansson? Check.
Hybrid monster-dino nightmare? Double check.
Gritty survival vibes with a splash of Aliens and Predator? We’re in.

Universal Pictures unleashed the second official trailer today, and fans are already losing their fossil-loving minds. It’s slick, scary, and stacked with Hollywood power. Scarlett leads the charge as Zora Bennett, a covert ops badass sent to a rogue island to recover top-secret dinosaur DNA (because what could possibly go wrong?).

Along for the ride — and probably a few dino chompings — are Mahershala Ali and Jonathan Bailey, looking all kinds of serious and sweaty in the jungle. But the real scene-stealer? A brand-new monstrosity called the Distortus Rex — a six-limbed, nightmare-fueled hybrid that looks like a T. rex and a Xenomorph had a baby.

Director Gareth Edwards (Rogue One, Godzilla) is clearly going for a darker, meaner reboot — and honestly, it works. The trailer teases tight horror scenes, some good ol’ fashioned “we’re not gonna make it!” panic, and yes… a massive Mosasaurus doing Mosasaurus things (translation: flipping boats and eating people).

Fans on social media are calling it the most intense Jurassic trailer since the OG dropped back in ’93. According to Variety, the film is set to hit theaters on July 2, 2025, just in time to ruin your summer with dino-fueled anxiety.

Composer Alexandre Desplat is scoring the film, mixing John Williams nostalgia with bone-rattling suspense. A bold move, but the vibe? Chef’s kiss.

If you weren’t hyped before, you are now.
