Brad Arnold Of 3 Doors Down Reveals Stage 4 Cancer Diagnosis And Tour Cancellation

In a heartbreaking announcement, Brad Arnold, frontman of rock band 3 Doors Down, revealed he’s been diagnosed with stage 4 kidney cancer.

The news dropped this morning in a powerful video, and fans are rallying around the singer as he faces his biggest challenge yet.

Brad got real with his followers on May 7, 2025, sharing that the cancer, specifically clear cell renal cell carcinoma, has already spread to his lungs. But here’s the kicker: he’s staying strong. “I’ve got no fear, and I’m ready to fight,” Arnold said, showing some serious resolve.

But it’s not all about the diagnosis. The band had to cancel their much-anticipated summer tour, which was supposed to kick off in Daytona Beach on May 15. “I hate this for our fans, but I need to take care of myself,” Brad told fans in the video. And honestly? It’s pretty damn moving to see him so open about it.

In case you missed it, the 3 Doors Down crew has been through a lot lately, but they’re determined to come back stronger.

Brad’s message ended on an optimistic note, referencing the band’s 2008 anthem, It’s Not My Time. Fans flooded social media with messages of support, reminding Brad he’s not fighting alone.
