Hold on to your lightsabers — May the 4th is almost here, and it’s gonna be bigger, louder, and weirder than ever. Star Wars Day is blasting back into our galaxy, and fans are turning cities into full-blown intergalactic playgrounds.

No joke, Laredo, Texas is going all out. According to the Laredo Morning Times, the border city is transforming into a Star Wars wonderland with vintage vendors at Frontera Beer Garden, a Mos Eisley Cantina–themed bash at Borderland Espresso (bring your best alien dance moves), and a parking lot rager at Quickie Bakery. Yep, a bakery party — because nothing says “galactic rebellion” like Jedi cupcakes and Chewbacca cookies.

Meanwhile, Disney+ is dropping six fresh episodes of Tales of the Jedi: Tales of the Underworld — featuring Asajj Ventress and Cad Bane. According to MarketWatch, the series already teased its premiere with a Fortnite crossover on May 2. We’re talkin’ animated action, bounty hunters, and all the space drama your Star Wars–obsessed heart could want.

And don’t sleep on the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in LA. Per the Associated Press, they’re hosting Exploring the Galaxy 2025, a mega Star Wars celebration with exhibits, screenings, and enough fan-service to make your Wookiee howl.

East Coasters, we didn’t forget you. Eventbrite lists a lightsaber-sharpening trivia night at McLoone’s Boathouse in West Orange, New Jersey. Think you know your Episodes I through VIII? Prove it or get roasted like Anakin on Mustafar.

So yeah, whether you’re into cosplay, trivia, or bingeing Disney+, May 4 is the day to let your geek flag fly. It’s not just a fan holiday anymore — it’s a legit cultural event.

May the Fourth be with you — and your Instagram story.
