Belichick Breaks Silence, Backs His Girl
Bill Belichick just called out CBS — and he’s not holding back.
The NFL legend is fired up after a now-viral interview where his 24-year-old girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, jumped in mid-convo like she was calling a timeout. Belichick says the network played dirty with the editing — and made Hudson look like the villain.
“They chopped it up and made it look like something it wasn’t,” Belichick told The New York Post. “She was just trying to steer the interview back to the topic — my book. That’s it.”
ICYMI, Hudson cut off CBS reporter Kelefa Sanneh mid-question, reminding him the chat was supposed to be about Belichick’s new book, The Art of Winning. Cue the internet exploding with hot takes and memes faster than a Gronk spike.
But Belichick isn’t just defending her — he’s doubling down.
“She’s smart, professional, and she’s part of the team,” he added. “People can hate, but she’s doing her job.”
The couple — yep, still going strong despite that 48-year age gap — met on a flight in 2021. Hudson, a former pageant queen and self-described “entrepreneur,” has since become a close part of Belichick’s business ops.
And just in case you’re wondering… she’s not just tagging along. Emails from UNC show she’s been included in official communications. Like it or not, she’s in the huddle now.
Even Belichick’s old squad is backing him up. Rob Gronkowski and Julian Edelman both said on their podcast that Hudson was just “protecting the playbook” — aka making sure CBS stuck to the script.
Love her or side-eye her, Hudson isn’t going anywhere. And Belichick? He’s riding with her — through the blitz and beyond.
