In the 13th match of IPL 2025, a match is being played between Punjab Kings and Lucknow Super Giants. Punjab Kings won the toss and chose to bowl first. Lucknow’s 27 crore captain Rishabh Pant has once again proven to be a flop this season. Glen Maxwell dismissed Rishabh Pant for just 2 runs. Pant had mocked the Punjab Kings team led by Shreyas Iyer before the start of IPL 2025, and now Iyer has taken revenge by getting Pant out.
Rishabh Pant flopped again
Punjab Kings won the toss and decided to bowl first, inviting Lucknow to bat. Lucknow scored 171 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs. During Lucknow’s innings, captain Rishabh Pant once again failed to perform. Pant scored two runs off five balls before being dismissed by Glenn Maxwell.
Glenn Maxwell got Pant out again
Pant’s record against Glenn Maxwell is very poor. So far, Pant has played only 16 balls against Maxwell in the IPL, in which he could score only 12 runs and has been dismissed three times. In such a situation, when Pant came to bat today, Punjab captain Shreyas Iyer once again put the ball in the hands of Maxwell and he trapped the 27 crore captain of Lucknow in his clutches.
Pant made fun of Punjab
Before the start of IPL 2025, Rishabh Pant, the captain of Lucknow Super Giants, made fun of the Punjab Kings team. Pant was roped in by LSG for a whopping Rs 27 crore during the auction and then made the captain. Pant had said that Punjab had the biggest purse in the auction and he was worried that Punjab would not buy him.
Saar saar Punjab Kings is not a IPL team, Lolsg is best IPL team in the world. ๐ญ
Rishabh Pant literally scored 2 runs in a pressure situation after taking 27 crores in the auction. Fact is he didn’t even crossed 27 runs in this IPL.#LSGvsPBKSpic.twitter.com/Fn2usM1pFG
