Passengers frustrated over Air India delays and IndiGo flight cancellations.
New Delhi – The issue of Air India flight delays has once again come into the spotlight. This time, NCP (SP) MP Supriya Sule has joined those expressing their frustration.
Her flight was delayed by approximately one hour and 19 minutes, prompting her to criticize Air India on social media and demand stricter regulations from Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu.
Expressing her displeasure, Supriya Sule said, “The same story repeats every time. We pay premium fares but receive delayed flights and poor service in return. Children, the elderly, and working professionals all suffer due to this mismanagement.” She urged the Civil Aviation Minister to implement strict regulations to hold airlines accountable for their delays.
Following her tweet, Air India issued a statement clarifying, “We understand that flight delays can be inconvenient for passengers. However, such situations often arise due to operational necessities.”
