Circular Ring 2 – A smart ring with blood pressure and sugar monitoring, no subscription required.
Samsung’s Galaxy Ring has made smart rings popular among people, but many smart rings still come with fewer features compared to smartwatches.
However, a new startup, Circular, is trying to bridge this gap. At this year’s technology event, CES, Circular introduced the third-generation smart ring, Circular Ring 2. The highlight of this ring is that it will be able to measure blood pressure and blood sugar levels.
Available Without a Subscription Model
This technology will measure blood pressure
The ring will use Pulse Transit Time (PTT) technology to measure blood pressure. This technology determines how long it takes for blood to travel through the arteries and reach different parts of the body. This process can take anywhere from 30 seconds to 2 minutes. The blood glucose trend tracking feature will be available in 2026, helping users understand what changes they need to make in their diet, exercise, and sleep.
Circular Ring 2 is available for pre-order on Kickstarter for $239 (approximately ₹20,000). Unlike other fitness devices, it does not have a subscription model, and all features will be available without any additional charges.
