Accused Arrested for Throwing Explosive at YouTuber’s House

Punjab Police arrests Hardik Kamboj for attacking YouTuber Roger Sandhu’s house in Jalandhar(hindustantimes.com)

A young man has been arrested from Yamunanagar district in Haryana for allegedly throwing an explosive substance at a YouTuber’s house in Jalandhar. Punjab Police officials stated that the accused, Hardik Kamboj (21), was brought to Jalandhar. When taken for weapon recovery, he fired at the police, prompting retaliatory action in which he was injured.

On Sunday, a grenade-like object was allegedly thrown at the house of Jalandhar-based YouTuber Roger Sandhu. However, it did not explode. Pakistani gangster Shahzad Bhatti claimed responsibility for the incident, accusing the YouTuber of insulting Islam.

Jalandhar Rural Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Gurmeet Singh stated that Hardik Kamboj was arrested on Monday evening from Bihata village in Bilaspur, Yamunanagar. During interrogation, he confessed to his involvement in the incident.
