Tulsi Gabbard addresses Raisina Dialogue 2025 on strengthening India-U.S. ties.
U.S. National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard addressed the Raisina Dialogue 2025 held in the capital on Tuesday. She stated that U.S. President Donald Trump’s “America First” policy should not be understood as being solely about America. Just as the American president follows this policy, similarly, India’s Prime Minister is moving forward with the vision of “India First.”
Tulsi emphasized that the present time offers a great opportunity to strengthen and elevate India-U.S. relations to new heights. Last month, a crucial perspective was shared during the bilateral meeting between the heads of both nations in Washington, D.C. She described the meeting between Prime Minister Modi and President Trump as a reunion of two old friends.
Partnership Between the Two Nations Will Strengthen
The U.S. National Intelligence Director confidently stated that friendship and bilateral partnership between India and the U.S. will continue to grow. Referring to ongoing conflicts in various parts of the world, particularly the Russia-Ukraine war and the Middle East tensions, Gabbard noted that the U.S. president is committed to ensuring peace and security.
